Practical information

Audiovisual equipment

The lecture room is equipped with a  blackboard, an overhead projector, and a projector connected to a PC. Powerpoint and PDF presentations can be shown via the PC. Please bring your electronic presentations on a USB memory stick (disk on key) or a CD.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner will be held in Ancaster  Hall on Tuesday beginning at 8:00pm.

Internet

Wireless networking will be provided free where there is coverage in the Pope building. The wireless network will be identified by the name "UoN-guest". Delegates should connect to this network, open their web browser, read the terms and conditions of use, check the box to accept the terms and conditions, enter their e-mail address in the top left corner of the web page, and click on login.

Rooms in Ancaster Hall are provided with an access point for connection to the Internet.  Delegates with a laptop are advised to bring a standard Ethernet cable (RJ-45).

Location

The conference will take place at the Nottingham University Park located two miles outside Nottingham. For directions use this link.

Lectures

Lectures will take place in room C18 and C19 in the Pope building

Meals

Breakfast and an evening meal will be served in the Dining Room of Ancaster Hall
