Turbulence Structure Laboratory

Welcome to Turbulence Structure Laboratory

Turbulence Structure Laboratory was founded long time ago by Prof. Arkady Tsinober. The laboratory has invented and developed the worldwide known Multi-Hot-Cold-Wire Anemometry experimental technique.

The laboratory extended the research activity when Dr. Alex Liberzon brought new non-intrusive experimental approaches: Particle Tracking Velocimetry, Particle Image Velocimetry and Infrared imaging.

We investigate turbulence .... Turbulence it is the disordered motion of fluid that has enormous practical importance. We believe that detailed experiments, jointly performed with the numerical simulations and leaded by the theoretical predictions will help us gaining better insight into the structure of turbulence.
