Abstract Submission

The official language of IMEC-14 is English. All presenters are kindly asked to prepare themselves accordingly.

Full-length manuscripts based on oral presentations or posters may be submitted to the Journal of Materials Science. They will go through a full independent and anonymous reviewing process and, if accepted, will be published in a special issue of this journal. Manuscripts should be prepared according to the Instructions for Authors, and submitted electronically via the Editorial Manager of the Journal, which can be found at https://www.editorialmanager.com/jmsc/. At the beginning of the submission process, authors should choose IMEC2009 from the pull-down menu to select the Article Type.
The deadline for manuscript submission is January 1, 2010. Since the Journal of Materials Science has agreed to our request to rapidly publish the accepted articles in a consolidated issue, January 1, 2010 will be the final date for manuscript submission.

Review-type manuscripts dealing with corrosion, coatings and related subjects may be alternatively submitted to the journal Corrosion Reviews. These manuscripts should be prepared according to the Instructions for Authors, which can be found at http://www.freundpublishing.com/JOURNALS/materials_science_and_engineering.htm.

Additional publication options may be announced closer to the conference.

Deadline for submission of abstracts: October 18, 2009

* Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
