Congratulations to Amir Ingber, a PhD student in the School of Electrical Engineering, for winning the Student Paper Award in the ISIT 2011 (IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory) for his paper "The Dispersion of Infinite Constellations" coauthored by Prof. Ram Zamir and Prof. Meir Feder (see letter below). are all awarded the student Paper Award for ISIT 2011. We had a very strong field of contenders and our committee's deliberations went well past ISIT, since the committee carefully considered the top papers.

Congratulation to Mor Kaspi from the Department of Industrial Engineering, for winning an honorable mention in the 2011 RAS student paper competition for the paper "Service Oriented Train Timetabling." The paper is coauthored by Dr al Raviv, Mor's MSc. Thesis advisor.
Mor is currently a PhD student in the department under the supervision of Dr Tal Raviv and Prof. Michal Tzur.
