The Yitzhak and Chaya Weinstein Research Institute for Signal Processing was founded at Tel-Aviv University in 2001 by Prof. Ehud Weinstein in memory of his late parents.

The institute supports students active in the field of Signal Processing by awarding three types of prizes:

•  Studies Prizes.
•  Prizes for Scientific Publication.
•  Prizes for Best Senior Year Projects in Digital Signal Processing.
