PhD Thesis: P(VDF-TrFE-CFE) MEMS and NEMS Devices

Short Abstract: The goal of my work is to use unique polymeric materials to fabricate highly sensitive sensors and low power actuators  at the  micro and nano scale.

Main projects:

  • Participant in the EU Heart-e-gel Consortium: Electroactive polymer hydro-gels for operation in cardiovascular systems
  • Ferroelectric relaxor polymer nano and micro device developement funded by Arkema/Piezotech
  • Collaboration with Dr. Tal Dvir’s group: Cardiac Tissue Engineering
  • Supervisor of two M.Sc. Electrical Engineering student projects
  • Reviewer for the Journal of Micromech. Microeng. (JMM)
