Make a copy and read the assigned Chapter from the
"Handbook of Medical Imaging - Volume 2,
Sonka and Fitzpatrick, Editors (Library's copy).

Select a topic or two of interest in the Chapter.

List related references from the Chapter reference list.

Provide (one page via EMAIL to michal@eng.tau.ac.il):
1. One paragraph description of the Chapter content (e.g. "Medical
Image Interpretation")
2. Short list of bullets with subtopics (tools) within the
Chapter (e.g. "Rules", "Semantic networks", "Atlasas")
3. One-2-three subtopics (mathematical tools) that you plan to research
further.
4. List of references that you plan to work on.

We will Email back an acknowledgment of your topic and
chosen references.
Will inform you if we hold any of the references or other related interesting
ones.
(You may also inform us if you have trouble finding any particular articles
in TAU, and we will order them for you).

At least one of the references you select should contain
a medical application that will be of interest to present in class.
