The CIMLAB provides a number of academic courses throughout the year:
Robotics Lab for Mechanical Engineering students. The course provides the students with an overview of robotics in industry.
Laboratories in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM)for Industrial Engineering students. The CIM laboratory course introduces students to the main aspects of modern computerized design and manufacturing technology. Included in this course are numerically controlled turning and milling, computer vision, robotics, and automated assembly with supervisory control. These automated manufacturing techniques are used individually and in coordination. They are also used together as a system for rapid prototyping starting from a CAD system. The course provides combined lecture and practicum with a strong experimental emphasis. For a list of labs click here.
Computer Integrated Manufacturing for Industrial Engineering students. The CIM lab is accompanied by a theoretical course covering the theoretical aspects of the applications learnt in the laboratory. For syllabus click here. |
