Abstract Stable high-density, high-temperature deuterium
plasmas are formed at 10 Torr pressure within a multimode cavity located in a
magnetic confining field by application of high-power CW microwaves at the
electron gyro frequency. The method, equipment considerations, and present
trends are discussed. |
