Abstract The paper considers the problem of microwave power
transmission from an orbiting solar power station to the earth. In particular,
questions such as the optimum frequency range, antenna dimensions and
mechanical tolerances, phasing and directional control, and attainable
transmission efficiencies are discussed. |
