Abstract This research describes and reports the results of
an investigation to determine an optimum microwave energy exposure level and
exposure time that will produce significant enhancement of the germination
time and seedling yield of Douglas-fir tree seed. The most favorable exposure combination increased the overall
seedling yield greater than 25%, with the early germination enhanced greater
than 800%. |
