Abstract An applicator of the travelling
wave resonator type is proposed for heating thin and low loss materials with
a reasonably high power conversion efficiency. The design and analysis of the
applicator are presented, together with experimental data, to establish some
basic advantages over the more conventional web heating techniques. |
