Abstract The use of metal fibres in microwave
shielding materials was investigated. These fibres were incorporated into
textiles and rigid or flexible insulators. These new materials have an
excellent shielding effectiveness combined with interesting mechanical and
antistatic properties increasing the equipment safety. |
