Abstract

This paper describes the study of the behaviour of macromolecules of dextran (T 110) in aqueous solutions. The behaviour of the studied solutions was found to be of the Cole-Cole type with a relaxation time distribution parameter a given in the temperature range 5° to 60°C. This parameter increases with concentration and temperature. The static permittivities and their diminution with respect to concentration are determined. The relaxation of water is "modified" by the presence of dextran.
