Abstract A microwave moisture
gauge for limestone in the sintering plant is described. The frequency dependence
of the microwave attenuation due to the moisture was studied, and a
transmission type microwave moisture gauge has been developed. A self
balancing method is used for attenuation measurement in the moisture gauge.
The microwave moisture gauge is now in on- line operation. |
