Abstract The introduction of
microwave and other electrical drying techniques to improve the efficiency and
throughput of a number of energetically key areas within the manufacturing of
printed carpets is presented. A brief outline is also given of current
methods and techniques in processing backings for tufted carpets. A detailed
technical feasibility study introducing electrical techniques for
preheating/curing of SBR backings is also presented. |
