Abstract A low operating voltage magnetron
has been developed and put into production. It operates at the anode voltage
of 2.5 kV and yields 500 W output power to a microwave oven with high
efficiency The relation between the RE voltage and the efficiency or the mode
stability has been experimentally studied in order to clarify the
difficulties for realizing a successful low-voltage magnetron. |
