Abstract A novel type of radiometer is described, which solves the problem of emissivity-(mismatch) independent noise temperature measurements by simultaneous registration of an object's apparent temperature and its reflectivity with just one microwave receiver and real-time calculation of the object's emissivity and its actual temperature.
