Abstract The findings of research on possible agricultural applications of radiofrequency (RF) and microwave energy are briefly summarized. Included are discussions on stored-grain insect control, agricultural seed treatment, product processing, and measurement of properties such as moisture content by use of the dielectric properties of agricultural products.
