Abstract Single sided microwave
applicators based on waveguide and stripline
configurations were developed specifically for the purpose of sealing cartons
by reheating previously applied "hotmelt".
Sealing times of less than half a second have been achieved. Slotted
waveguide applicator positioned on beer carton to simultaneously heat four
spots across the width. |
