Abstract The distribution of the
dissipated electromagnetic energy in a heterogeneous medium is modelised and
the parameters evaluated from dielectric measurements. A temperature gradient
predicted at the solid-liquid interface. As an application, the irradiation
of a mixture of fluorite and a collecting solution irradiated by an
electromagnetic field was investigated. The results are interpreted in terms
of thermal and non thermal effects. |
