Abstract This photo-story illustrates a presentation on commercial catering made at the 1986 IMPI Symposium and summarized in JMPE² 21(3): 185-6 Index Number 1152. It also illustrates the development of microwave cooking over a 25-year period from its infancy to the first generation of microwave combination ovens with vending machines.
