Abstract The performance of an array
of two or four dielectric loaded rectangular applicators operating at 915 MHz
is described. Plane and cylindrical muscle tissue phantoms were utilized to
determine heating patterns under a variety of conditions. Some undesirable
anomalous effects were observed when adjacent applicators were operated with
large relative phase shifts. Key Words: Hyperthermia, phantom
