Abstract

Dyadic’s Green’s Functions for the calculation of the electric and magnetic fields, produced by surface magnetic current in a rectangular microwave heating cavity applicator, with a stratified flat load, were derived by the expansion of the normalized mode vectors of the field.  They were used in the calculation of the power distribution in the load by the Moments Method and in the optimization for uniform heating.  Satisfactory results were obtained.
