Abstract Variations and
fluctuations of the bulk density of grain have been recognized as a major factor
limiting the accuracy of moisture content measurements by dielectric methods.
Experimental results of attenuation and phase shift measurements as a
function of moisture content and density at 9.4 GHz for six kinds of grain
are presented; and technical means to eliminate or limit the density effect
are discussed. |
