Abstract During the last few years, Electricité de France (EDF) has done some applied research on industrial RF technology, in order to increase the efficiency and the versatility of the equipment, and to reduce the design and starting-up costs for new applications. The paper describes a modular and standardized RF technology, and some design or test methods based on numerical techniques and impedance measurements.
