Abstract A solvent was recovered from PVC processing wastes without any degradation of the polyvinyl chloride, rendering both components suitable for reuse. Tests were performed utilizing a laboratory-size microwave system and also conducted at the manufacturing plant with a 20 KW radio-frequency system.
