Abstract

A frequency domain transmission line technique has been used to determine the dielectric microwave properties of phosphate rock in the frequency range from 2.4 to 3.65 GHz. Samples of different moisture content were placed between two mylar membranes in a waveguide sample holder. The relative permittivity and loss tangent were determined from the measured S -parameters.
