Abstract This paper covers the
most important design aspects of stripline resonators
essential for their applications as sensors for material measurements in
industrial processes. A stripline resonator sensor
is a section of a stripline transmission line. The
paper discusses e.g. the quality factor, the sensitivity and the resonant
frequency of the sensor. The article also deals with the use of sensor arrays
for fast mapping of the material properties. The effect of the measurement
environment is also discussed. Stripline resonator
sensors have been developed for measurement of the properties of sheetlike materials or material layers. Key Words: Stripline, Resonator, Material measurement, Microwave sensors. |
