Abstract Various schemes to achieve automated tuning of microwave heating systems are discussed. For high power applications, an arrangement utilizing a triple stub tuner of special design has desirable properties. The principle of operation, construction, and performance of such a tuner capable of operation in the ISM band 2450 ± 25 MHz is described. |
