Abstract This paper describes a new technique
for measurement of moisture content of materials in sheet form. The method is
based upon the measurement of the change in field concentration of a surface
wave launched over a material which is placed upon a flat conducting surface.
Experimental results are presented for various materials and it is shown that
the method exhibits good resolution in the higher moisture content range. |
