Abstract This report presents the results
of an investigation of the effects of microwave radiation in vitro on the
human serum enzyme lactate dehydrogenase, acid phosphatase and alkaline phosphatase.
Serum specimens were treated with 2.8 GHz microwaves (1 kHz square wave
modulation) at an incident power density of between 400
mW/cm² and 1000 mW/cm². Treatments with and without microwaves were
