Abstract The paper gives the results
obtained from a detailed analysis made of drying experiments on paper and
board in radiofrequency and microwave fields. A close correlation of all the
data has been achieved which has made it possible to predict the differential
drying effect on arbitrary moisture profiles. Radio frequency is shown to be
much more effective than microwaves in levelling moisture profiles. |
