Abstract A modified variable-length post
for use in high power waveguide tuning networks is analyzed to determine its
reactance properties. Theoretical predictions are shown to be in good agreement
with experimental results. An investigation of the reactance characteristics
and the aperture voltage characteristics of the modified post, as a function
of its dimensions, is also reported. |
