June 2010: Research grant from the I-SAEF
George Weiss
and me received a three year research grant from
the
I-SAEF.
July 2010: Special session on Switched and Hybrid Systems
I am organizing a
special session on Switched and Hybrid Systems for the
IEEE 26th CONVENTION OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERS IN ISRAEL.
This will take place in Eilat, Israel, Nov. 17-20, 2010.
Eilat is Israel's southernmost city located at the northern tip of the
Red Sea. Eilat's arid desert climate is moderated by proximity to a warm sea.
Average day temperature in Eilat during the month of November is 27
Centigrade (81 Fahrenheit). The city's beaches, coral reefs, fine
hotels, nightlife and desert landscapes make it a popular destination
for domestic and international tourism.

July 2011: Research grant from the ISF
I received a four year research grant from
the
ISF to study the optimal control of Boolean networks.
