Sperm Motility
Analysis The CRISMAS system measures sperm
concentration in sperm samples and performs an objective and
detailed analysis of sperm motility according to the WHO standard.
Detailed study of each sperm track is possible as the image sequence
can be played back, overlayed with the individual sperm movement
traces for easy visual inspection.
Minimize investments
The hardware is designed
and based on standard components, reducing users investment needs by
utilizing existing equipment in the instrument setup. The system
functionality can be extended according to individual needs. CRISMAS
supports standard stages like Prior and Ludl for full sampling
automation.
Analysis at
clinics CRISMAS is an
easy to use CASA system for all fertility clinics. As a special
feature, an advanced edition for research centres is also
available.
Features:
Easy to use CASA system for fertility
clinics
Real-time recording
Multiple recordings for each
sample
Intelligent X,Y sampling
Detailed analysis of motility pattern
Detailed study of each sperm motion
track
Motion or single-step playback of
images
Possibility for manual editing of
sperm tracks
Benefits:
Individual images may be
overlayed with colour tracks for printing and/or stored to
disk for future reference.
Statistical data detailing
the sperm movement sequences may also be printed out and/or
stored to disk for future reference.
Full FertiDB database
integration. All data are accessible from the FertiDB
database as well as the CRISMAS database.
Classification:
the total number of
spermatozoa
their concentration
the % which are immotile
the % which are local motile
the % which are progressive
motile
the statistical distribution of
spermatozoa
behaviour with their associated
median values
for VCL, VSL, VAP, LIN, ALH, STR and
WOB.
SpermMorphology
The CRISMAS CASA system can be extented
with the SpermMorph Module for automatic sperm morphology
analysis based on Strict and WHO criterias.
SpermMorph is a fully
automated sperm morphology analysis system. By determining the
morphology on sperm cells, SpermMorph provides details on the
distribution of normal and abnormal spermatozoes.
