I am a faculty member in the Department of EE - Systems at the Tel Aviv University. . I received the B.Sc. (summa cum laude) from the Technion Institute of Technology, and the M.Sc and Ph.D from the Tel Aviv University, all in Electrical Engineering, in 1997, 2004 and 2009, respectively. Prior to my graduate studies, I spent a few years in the Israeli Defense Force and in the hi-tech industry working in Communications and Signal Processing. Between 2008-2011 I was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Information Theory and Application Center at the University of California, San Diego. I spent 2011-2013 working as a Quantitative Analyst with the D.E. Shaw Group in New York, NY. I received the ITA Fellowship (2009-2011), the 2009 Advanced Communication Center Award for my Ph.D thesis, the Adams Fellowship (2006-2008) awarded by the Israeli Academy of Sciences and Humanities, and the Weinstein Prize (2006-2009). I was a member of the Technion Exellence Program (1993-1997).
