Spectral-Domain Phase Microscopy (SDPM)

  • A single-point fiber-optics IPM system which is based on spectral-domain optical coherence microscopy.
  • Can achieve several tens of picometers optical thickness accuracy in time.
  • System is portable, inexpensive and does not require an optical table.
  • System has a great potential for clinical applications.

Applications:

•Red blood cells (RBCs):
 Measuring membrane fluctuations.
•Neurons: Measuring action potentials.
