The OMNI Lab in the Nano Center is located in room 024 in the basement of the building.

This lab hosts a femto-second pulse laser (Ti:Sapphs) and a large optical table.

Building the lab (June 2011-December 2011):

June 2011: Initial condition.

 

July 2011: Drilling  60cm deep in the ground to put a concrete base on which the optical table will be positioned
(for additional mechanical vibration isolation).

 

April 2011: New floor and clean-room ceiling.

 

October 2011: New power ports, new and larger door, new cabinets, clean-room air-conditioning, laser curtains.

 

November 2011: New air pressure pipes, new floating optical table.
