Short Bio:

 

Dr. Eran Socher earned a B.A. in Physics and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in 1996. He continued his education at the Technion, where he served as Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. He received his M.Sc. in 1999 and his Ph.D. in 2005, both in Microelectronics. From 2003 to 2006 he worked as a research engineer at the IDF. He has also worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Technion and the School of Engineering Bar Ilan University. From 2006 to 2008 he served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at UCLA, working in the High Speed Electronics Lab of Prof. Frank Chang. In October 2008 he joined Tel Aviv University School of Electrical Engineering as a Senior Lecturer. Dr. Eran Socher has won several teaching and research awards, including the 2011 TAU Rector Award for Excellent Teaching and HPCA Best Paper Award. Dr. Eran Socher has contributed about 50 journal articles and conference papers.
