Responsibilities

SW Engineer (2 Positions)

Job Description

· Customize and tune optimal configuration to N-trig’s products using pre-defined engineering tools provided by R&D

· Deliver product configurations as part of N-trig’s SW release for Verification & Validation (V&V) testing

· Support issues investigation and resolution with V&V. Collaborate with SW engineers, V&V engineers and System engineers

· Support tools / scripts development (optional)

· The role is considered to be temporary ~1/2year

Requirements

· Electronic Engineering / Software Engineering Outstanding Students, preference from an established university which are close to graduation (3rd / 4th year)

· Very flexible. Can allocate ~4days a week and work long hours

· Experience with XML, Scripts, Perl – Advantageous

· Experience C/C++ – Advantageous

Be a part of a central, innovative team working on the development of L4-L7 services and solutions on top of Cisco’s routers. As part of this role you’ll lead test and regression methodologies having a close familiarity with the architecture and working with the SW developers closely. Required skills:

Job Description:
The Intern will participate in a project with a team of engineers involved in design, verification, physical design and validation of a high end, state of the art ASICs for Cisco’s flagship routers.
The job may require handling several activities, sometimes concurrently, such as:
• Development & implementation of scripts under the guidance of a mentor
• Writing, running and debugging tests under the guidance of a mentor
• Write documents and Wiki

Skills Required:
Must:
