I am starting a new venture. Contact me if you are interested in distributed computing/learning algorithms/cloud infrastructure!
During 2015-2017 I was a Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Labs, New Jersey, USA, in the optical transmission research department. During 2008-2015 I served as an algorithm engineer in Anobit Technologies, a developer of advanced signal processing solutions for flash storage products (acquired by Apple Inc. in 2011). During 2006-2008 I was with the algorithms research group in Intel's Broadband Wireless Division (WiMAX). I am the co-author of several patents in the fields of communication, coding and signal processing.
I received the B.Sc. degree (cum laude) in 2008 and the M.Sc. degree (summa cum laude) in 2011 from the Tel Aviv University, both in Electrical Engineering. In 2015 I completed my Ph.D. studies under the supervision of Prof. Meir Feder and Prof. Mark Shtaif, at the School of Electrical Engineering, Tel Aviv University.
I am the recipient of the Advanced Communication Center award for outstanding research work in the field of communication technologies (2014), the Electro-Optic Fund award of Tel-Aviv University for outstanding research work (2014), the Weinstein award for an outstanding publication in the fields of signal processing and communication (2013 and 2014), the Adams Fellowship awarded by the Israeli Academy of Sciences and Humanities (2013-2015), the Intel award for excellence in academic studies and research (2013) and the Weinstein prize for academic excellence (2011).
