Tel-Aviv University, Tel-Aviv, Israel

I am an assitant professor at the Department of EE – Systems Tel-Aviv University. Before joining Tel Aviv-Univeristy I was a post-doc at the University of Maryland in the ECE/ISR department. During my academic career I recieved the Krill Prize for Excellence in research in 2018, the 2015 IEEE Information Theory Society Paper Award , and the 2013 IEEE Communication Society Data Storage Technical Committee Best Paper Award.

Research Interests

My research focuses on various aspects of information processing over networks. More precisely, I strive to develop new analysis tools, coding schemes, and low-complexity algorithms for practical challenges that arise in multitutde engineering areas such as storage and biological networks. Towards achieving these goals I'm always excited whenever I can to apply tools from different areas of mathematics, such as algebra, combinatorics and probabiliy. In particular I'm interested in
  • Information Networks

  • Coding Theory

  • Combinatorics

  • Information Theory in Biology

I am looking for curious and self-motivated postdocs, PhD and Master students to join my group. If you are interested, please send me an email with your CV.
