Interleaving theory, practice, and education

Motto 1 (what?): Designing better contexts for designing

Motto 2 (how?): Adhering to the principle of reflexive practice

Motto 3 (what could interfere?): The theory practice problem

Context could stand for many things including:

1.      Educational course in which project-based design is performed

2.      Distributed design environment that provides the infrastructure for distributed collaborative design

3.      Office environment that hosts design activity

4.      Team culture that influences the team design activity

Underlying my work is the interaction between theory, practice, and education. Each of these aspects has an indispensable part in advancing the art and science of design.

Two examples that demonstrate the significant interaction between these aspects are the n-dim project and the course design project.
